Live Parking Information
The City of Los Angeles, Department of Transportation (LADOT) is now providing real-time parking availability for metered spaces in Hollywood and Studio City. In the map below, the approximate number of open parking spaces is shown for each street block in equipped areas. Wireless sensors in each parking space provide this data as an aid to locate available on-street parking.
This live parking information is also available through a convenient smartphone application,
called Parker, which is now
available for both iPhone and Android phones. Parker
is the nation's first-ever mobile application to give drivers a faster and more convenient
way to find open metered parking spaces and nearby garages. An application version for
BlackBerry® smartphones is anticipated in the future.
LADOT is looking forward to expanding real-time parking information to include new areas of
the City in the future. Planned for early 2012, live parking information for Downtown
Los Angeles will be made available as part of the Downtown
